Experienced a very cool thing this summer- I witnessed my nieces and nephews learn, fall in love with, and get addicted to fishing using a rod and reel that Knack helped design.
When I gave them each a fishing pole (matched to their favorite character, of course) I didn't expect them to think much of it... we all know how kids are. BUT instead they were stoked. What I really didn't expect was to be spending the next four days loading worms onto hooks nonstop because all these kids wanted to do was fish. One by one, each learned how to cast and reel (even the 3yr old!) and we all had a blast enjoying being outdoors together.
I'd be remiss not to note that BoltGroup did the heavy lifting on this design project for Shakespeare. BoltGroup brought us in to help with the ideation and concept sketching, then worked with Shakespeare's team to bring this rod and reel to the market. They did such a fantastic job and we are so grateful to work with their team.
